This skill building group will bring practical supports for highly sensitive folks with ADHD and autism diagnoses, learning disabilities, sensory issues or gifted folks. Learn helpful skills for when you feel sensory, cognitive, and/or emotional overwhelm. Neurodiversity refers to the healthy variation in how different people’s brains receive, process and respond to stimuli. In this group, we will learn how our brain/neurology/nervous system works and how our neurology affects our emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. We will also explore strategies for dealing with meltdowns and shut downs associated with anxiety and sensory issues.
